Eat These Words

We come to the last podcast in our Genesis series! It's been a wild ride! From primordial sea beasts to survival stories from the flood, to epic journeys through the wilderness to new country. We finally finish off with Joseph and an image of a Suffering Servant, pointing us all the way to Jesus.

Today we pick up the story of Joseph after he has been sold into slavery by his brothers. Even though he has lost everything 'God was with him'. Today we will unpack the nature of God's promise of his presence to each of us.

In this episode we look at the circumstances surrounding the births of Abraham's sons, and ask some questions about how we hold our futures.

Today we are introduced to Abram. Is he just another historical figure from the distant past, or someone who might guide us into the epic blessing story of God that is taking shape all around us?

Today I have a go at explaining the meaning behind the story of the Great Flood in chapters 6-9.
